Safety at Magnifique
Posted: Wednesday, September 14th, 2016
As with every festival, the importance of safety cannot be stressed enough. We take the safety and security of all patrons very seriously.
All cars will be searched upon arrival to the campgrounds.
We want to stress that Magnifique will pull a large amount of traffic, especially during peak entry hours. While this growth makes the experience bigger and better, it also means there will be lines to wait in. Keep in mind that each and every one of you can add to our efficiency by briefing yourself and your friends on what can and cannot be taken into The Gorge before you get to the gates, reminding yourselves of the rules and regulations, and by being cooperative when it comes time for our staff and security to check your person and your belongings.
Spread #TheMessage: Being prepared, staying hydrated, taking personal responsibility, looking out for others are just some of the things you can do.
HYDRATION IS KEY
Hydration is a priority USC takes very seriously and because of this we will have FREE water refill stations throughout the festival grounds. Not only will have we water refill stations but our Conscious Crew will be on the lookout for any signs of dehydration and heat stroke. We have your back! You will be able to bring in empty camelbacks and USC water bottles. You are also allowed to bring in ONE 20 oz factory sealed water bottle, so be prepared when you get in line to enter the Gorge.
The music doesn't stop, but you should. Take breaks and pace yourself, dancing is hard work!
